Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Karozza.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Karozza.

2. Description of Service

Karozza provides an online platform for private individuals and businesses in Malta to list vehicles for sale, search available vehicles, and facilitate contact between buyers and sellers. We are a marketplace only — we do not own, inspect, or guarantee any vehicle listed.

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to register an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• You must provide accurate and truthful information when registering
• One account per person; shared accounts are not permitted
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

4. Listing Rules

When creating a listing, you agree that:

• You are the legal owner of the vehicle or authorised to sell it
• All information provided is accurate and not misleading
• Photos are of the actual vehicle being sold
• The vehicle is roadworthy and legally registered (or clearly described as not)
• You will not list the same vehicle more than once
• You will promptly mark the listing as sold once the vehicle is no longer available
• No commercial vehicles may be listed under a private seller account

5. Prohibited Content

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Listing stolen, clocked, or written-off vehicles without clear disclosure
• False, misleading, or fraudulent listings
• Spam, phishing, or scam attempts
• Harassment, abuse, or threatening behaviour toward other users
• Content that violates Maltese or EU law

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend any account that violates these rules without notice.

6. Payments and Fees

Basic listings are free. Optional paid upgrades (Featured, Spotlight, Urgent) and dealer subscriptions are available. All paid features are non-refundable unless required by law. Prices are displayed in Euros (€) and include any applicable VAT.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Karozza does not verify the accuracy of listings, inspect vehicles, or guarantee the completion of any transaction. Buyers and sellers transact at their own risk. We strongly recommend independent inspections before purchase.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Karozza shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including losses arising from transactions between users. Our total liability in any matter is limited to the amount you paid to us in the preceding 3 months.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malta. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Maltese courts.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
